Many children struggle with bow hold because their hand becomes tense or because their fingers have not yet developed the necessary mobility.
And this is completely natural: a hand that, until that point, has only manipulated pencils is faced with a new object, with a different shape and function, and needs to learn how to control it.
Arco-Training was developed precisely to support this transition:
✔️ Replica of a violin bow frog ✔️ Ultra-lightweight, only 8 g ✔️ Pocket-sized and easy to carry — practice anywhere ✔️ Visible thumb position ✔️ Tension-free training ✔️ Ideal for small hands ✔️ Suitable for all levels
It allows children to specifically work on hand shape before the bow is introduced into the dynamic balance required for playing. This creates a more natural and relaxed approach to bow hold. Find Arco-training in the Bolognani-Methode store.
